Have you ever felt hopeless or unable to get out of a difficult situation? Talking with a sympathetic, trained listener can help in dealing with the issues that are standing in the way of having a fuller, more successful life. Whether on the job, in the family or with a significant other, relationships present challenges, but new ways can be found to resolve conflicts and change old, negative patterns.
Through therapy people have developed satisfying relationships, found meaningful work and careers and acquired techniques with which to manage anxiety and deal with depression. I believe there needs to be a good fit with a therapist in order to have a positive therapeutic relationship.
